Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan

In November 2009, Moody Bible Institute and Michigan Theological Seminary jointly announced plans for Michigan Theological Seminary to merge with Moody Bible Institute’s Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School. Finally, in January 2010, Michigan Theological Seminary became Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan.

Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan (MTS-Michigan) is committed to providing its students with rigorous academic training and to prepare them to be spiritually mature leaders who will serve the church community in Michigan and throughout US and the world. Because its programs are designed for adult students, scheduling at Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan is flexible. MTS – Michigan accommodate students that have family or full-time work obligations by providing evening classes and academic tracks that consider realistic schedules outside of the classroom. Because of this, classes are inherently diverse, attracting students with various backgrounds, ages and levels of training providing a rich and interactive learning experience.

Today, Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan enrolls approximately 160 students coming from 3 states and 6 foreign countries with almost 29 denominations represented. The Seminary currently offers graduate degrees in Master of Divinity (with emphases in Ministry Leadership, Pastoral Studies, and Spiritual Formation and Discipleship), Master of Theological Studies and Master of Arts (concentration in Counseling Psychology and Spiritual Formation and Disciplines)
