Founded in 1906, Ashland Theological Seminary (ATS) is an evangelical and ecumenical seminary located in Ashland, Ohio, with extension campuses located in Cleveland, Ohio, and Detroit Michigan. The core values of the Seminary are grounded in its Brethren heritage, which is derived from Anabaptism and Pietism. ATS is also part of the Graduate School of Ashland University, under the governance of the same Board of Trustees.
ATS integrates theological education with Christ-centered transformation as it equips men and women for ministry in the church and the world. ATS has graduated over 4,500 students and currently serving more than 800 students coming from more than 70 denominations and parachurch organizations and many different countries. ATS provides a continuum of educational opportunities that include certificate, diploma, master's doctoral, and continuing education programs. These opportunities to serve the needs of both traditional students and other learners representing a variety of churches, para-church and secular settings.
